I am a classically trained pianist. For years I've only played by the notes and honestly I never got too much satisfaction from that. Then after a few years of not touching any instruments I started playing again, but this time from my head directly, from inspiration...and that was an absolute joy. Complete flow state of mind, just doing what came to my mind. I started recording them, but as I didn't put much effort into the quality, also playing on out of tune piano...ups :) ...I then started using AI to re-master the songs and they came out great. I call it the lazy composer workflow. I play or hum the melody and have AI add orchestral background and replay the tune with main instrument.
